HAPPY SAIN† SHEOL tells the story of a group of seemingly ordinary girls living in a world devastated two thousand years ago by the Pestis Disaster, a cataclysm that corrupted all life and rendered the land nearly uninhabitable. To sustain those who still wished to survive, the Saint Sheol temple was established as a sanctuary in the desolate capital. The protagonist, aided by a distant relative, moves to the capital and begins training as a priest at Saint Sheol. Life in this unfamiliar and harsh environment is marked by daily pain and suffering, until one night when an angel appears in a dream and offers gentle reassurance. This vision, haunting yet comforting, reveals a face the protagonist recognizes, setting the stage for a tale filled with fear, miracles, love, and lust within the temple’s deepest corners. Standing before a looming disaster, six girls must confront the darkest shadows the world has ever seen and the blinding light that follows, raising the question: whose wings did the protagonist see that fateful day? Blending a rich narrative with an old-school aesthetic, HAPPY SAIN† SHEOL is a visual novel that offers players multiple choices and endings, allowing them to explore the complex emotions and mysteries surrounding the temple and its inhabitants. Directed and designed by RaV² with a scenario written by Hanami, the game features an evocative opening theme by AKGR and supports English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese languages.
