Players can choose to embark on the classic journey of DRAGON QUEST I or dive into the expanded adventure of DRAGON QUEST II directly from the start screen. In DRAGON QUEST I, you step into the shoes of Erdrick’s descendant, tasked with defeating the resurrected Dragonlord who has plunged the peaceful land of Alefgard into chaos. This richly crafted world, shaped by the goddess Rubiss, is filled with memorable characters and formidable foes as you seek to restore peace and vanquish evil once and for all. The journey is steeped in nostalgia yet brought vividly to life with modern HD-2D visuals and refined gameplay. DRAGON QUEST II continues the saga years after Alefgard’s salvation, where the descendants of Erdrick have established three thriving kingdoms now threatened by a new wave of malevolent monsters. Players join the Prince of Midenhall and his cousins—the Prince of Cannock, the Princess of Moonbrooke, and the newly introduced Princess of Cannock—on an epic quest to confront this darkness and preserve their ancestor’s legacy. The adventure expands with new towns, castles, caves, and dungeons to explore, along with a ship that opens up vast seas and rivers for exploration.
